Liberty invasive plants don’t magically appear

Missouri Department of Conservation defines an invasive plant as an aggressive, nonnative plant species that causes harm to the environment, economy or human health based on these factors:• rapid growth and reproduction;• seed dispersal;• vegetative reproduction from roots or stems; and• producing and releasing chemicals inhibiting growth of other plants.How did they arrive?

City not held to same downtown standards as Liberty residents

Why is it that property owners in the downtown historic district (of Liberty) are held to very strict standards when the city and arts commission can put all manner of ultra modern art pieces all over the Square, some right beneath banners proclaiming “Historic Downtown Liberty?” Either we all play by the same rules and follow them, or we do away with the historic district and we can all do what we please.

What do flamethrowers and AR-15s have to do with one’s ability to be considered for elective office? To the candidates choosing to use these props in your ads, it looks like you haven’t formulated a policy or message that would attract people to your position. Obviously, it’s easier to use fear and intimidation instead of providing better ideas.
