LIBERTY — Liberty North boys soccer is nearing a new season and is looking to revamp for another run at the crown in the KC Suburban Gold Conference. Last season, the Eagles went 16-6 overall, finished 5-3 in the conference and won the conference title.

Smithville boys soccer returns strong core for new season

SMITHVILLE — Smithville boys soccer is heading into a new season after winning the KC Suburban Blue Conference just last fall. On the path to defend their title, the Warriors will look to replace the impact from the five athletes who graduated from last year’s squad, including two all-state midfielders, and they’ll have a group of experienced veterans to do it.

Liberty volleyball looks to defend conference title with large group of returning players

LIBERTY — Liberty volleyball is preparing for the start of a new season, and the team heads into the campaign with a target on its back after winning the KC Suburban Silver Conference last fall. However, the Blue Jays will have a strong core of experienced and talented returners to defend their title.

Liberty North volleyball team heads into season with new look in lineup

LIBERTY — A new season is upon Liberty North volleyball as the team looks to adapt to the loss of six seniors from the team a season ago. The Eagles will look a bit different this year after losing Carlie Cisneros, twotime Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year; Ella Morgan in the middle; Emmy Seiler on the right side; setter Lauren Wright; and defensive specialists Sophia Derenzy and Jenna Burroughs to graduation.

Eagles swimming looks to state tournament experience heading into new season

LIBERTY — The Eagles’ boys swimming and diving team is quickly approaching a new season, with multiple athletes with state tournament experience set to pave the way. The Eagles graduated two from last fall’s varsity squad: Noah Warner, allstate honorable mention selection in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200 free relay; and Christopher Daniels, an all-conference honorable mention selection in diving.
