Pair of Kearney football players commit to North Dakota

It’s already a feat on its own to play college sports, let alone at the Division I level, and a pair of incoming Kearney football seniors were able to achieve that dream with the same school. While defensive back/wide receiver Grant Noland and linebacker Theo Grace prepare for their final season with the Bulldogs, they’ve also found their new home after high school with the University of North Dakota — committing just days apart.

LIBERTY — After grinding through the college recruitment process, Jack Homoly found his next spot after high school at home in Liberty. The incoming Blue Jay baseball senior is staying in the Northland as he announced his commitment to William Jewell College via X July 21.

Liberty North baseball player participates in MLB developmental program

One of Liberty North’s baseball players earned the opportunity to participate in the MLB Hank Aaron Invitational Youth Development Program. Troy Fisher, incoming junior shortstop for the Eagles, is one of 250 high school athletes to have the chance to travel to Florida to learn from former MLB players as they look to make it to the next level and play in the historic Jackie Robinson Training Complex.
