David Myers, 77, and Diania Myers, 69, beloved former residents of Holt, Missouri, entered into heaven on October 10, 2023, and December 1, 2024, respectively. Their passing marks the end of lives filled with love, faith, and devotion to family and community.
David dedicated 30 years of his career to the Folger’s coffee plant in Kansas City, retiring as a dedicated member of the workforce. Diania spent 25 years shaping young minds as a school teacher in the Kearney School District, leaving behind a legacy of education and care.
After their retirements, the couple relocated to Sun City, Arizona, where they enjoyed a well-earned chapter of relaxation and fulfillment. Together, they pursued hobbies that reflected their creativity and passions: David immersed himself in lapidary, silver work, and gun collecting, while Diania found joy in painting and leatherwork. Both took up video gaming to bond with their grandchildren, demonstrating their enduring commitment to family.
David and Diania are survived by their children, Julie Crouch (Nee Myers) and her husband, Tim Crouch, and David Myers Jr. and his wife, April Myers. They are also remembered by their grandchildren, Katie Crouch, Gabriel Sykes, Grace Myers, Rose Myers, and John Myers, as well as one great-grandchild, Isabella Sykes.
Their lives were rooted in faith and love, evident in their active involvement with Turney United Methodist Church. The couple’s Christian legacy and devotion to family will continue to inspire those who knew them.
Memorial contributions in their honor can be made to the Turney Methodist Church via turneymethodist.com/give or by check mailed to 200 Center St., Turney, MO 64493.
David battled complications from lung cancer with grace and strength, while Diania faced ovarian cancer with courage, determination, and true grit. Though they will be profoundly missed, their love, laughter, and faith will forever remain in the hearts of those they touched.
A celebration of their lives will be scheduled for the Spring of 2025, with details to be announced at a later date.
