Lloyd Lee Walker, 91, of Orrick, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Life Care Center in Carrollton.
 Lloyd was born on June 22, 1933, in Liberty, the son of Joseph “Joe” Herman Walker and Ethel Marie Wisler. He was united in marriage to Virginia Lee (Hindman) Woods of Orrick on December 4, 1965, she survives of the home.
 Additional survivors include: two daughters, Marcy (Chuck) Swearingin of Odessa and Victoria Charleston of Florida; 5 grandchildren: Katie (Bryce) Bukowski of Columbia, Christina (Brad) New, of Fayette, James Wilson of Gladstone, Brooke (Sterling) Granger of Harrison, AR, Christopher (Emily) Swearingin of Moscow Mills; 14 great-grandchildren: Lauren, Jasmine, Katlyn, Melody and Eden Bukowski; Kenley, Brantley, Oakley and Haysley New; Kaleb, Melody and Jesslyn Granger; Chloe and Riley Swearingin, twins. 3 nieces; Alison Gordon, Audrey Salisbury and Alecia Pierce.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marie Walker and sister Beverly Gordon.
 Lloyd proudly served in the United States Navy for four years in Hawaii as a Radar Operator and Radio Technician in an aircraft. A Korean War veteran, he later dedicated 32 years to Ford Motor Company before retiring in 1991. Never one to sit still, he continued working as a Frame Carpenter with the Swearingin Brothers for 15 years, helping build homes. He also gave back to his community by delivering groceries for Harvesters in Richmond, Missouri.
 A man of deep faith, Lloyd was a devoted member of the Assembly of God Church, now Zion, and previously served as a Deacon at Rock Falls Baptist Church. He loved God and lived his faith through kindness and service to others.
 Lloyd had a passion for gardening, flowers, and plants, as well as reading, history, and classic western and war movies. He enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises, and was his grandchildren’s biggest fan, rarely missing a sporting event. He also had a love for cookinghis fried chicken, which was legendary. He took great pride in preparing family meals and was never afraid to put on an apron, whether at home or washing dishes at Rock Falls church dinners.
 Above all, Lloyd cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

 Visitation with memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 29 at Thurman Funeral home in Richmond, with Visitation starting at 1:00 P.M. with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.
