STEVE CHRIS­TENSEN

 Steve Christensen, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 21st. He was born on February 6th, 1943, in Audubon County, Iowa, Steve dedicated his life to family, faith, and community.
 Steve graduated from Audubon High School in 1961. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Northwest Missouri State University in 1965. He founded the AKL Fraternity chapter at NWMSU and was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kearney, where he served in various leadership roles.
 Steve shared a beautiful 59-year marriage with his devoted wife, Adyline, the love of his life. Together, they raised three daughters: Gwen, Jenni, and Nanette. Steve was a proud and devoted “girl dad,” actively supporting his daughters’ growth and achievements. He cherished his role as a grandfather to eight grandchildren, celebrating their milestones with pride.
 Steve worked as an accountant at Farmland Industries for over 30 years and later at Vocational Services Incorporated. He also owned and operated Holt Mini Storage for 25 years. Steve found joy in square dancing, spending 25 years with the Ramblers Square Dance Club and serving on the National Square Dance Convention Board.
 Steve was deeply loved and will be missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Adyline Christensen; his daughters, Gwen (Curt) Mayes, Jenni (Chris) Skiba, Nanette Stout; his grandchildren, Gretchen (Jake) Shrewsbury, Jensen Mayes, Delany Stout, Thomas Skiba, Caroline (Ryan Wilmes) Mayes, Brock Stout, Jack Skiba, Samuel Skiba; his great-grandchildren, Eleanor Shrewsbury, Juliana Shrewsbury, his brother Delbert (Mary) Christensen, his brother-in-law Byron (Holly) Clemsen and many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, and son-in-law, Stacy Stout.
 The family suggests donating to The National Eye Institute or Trinity Lutheran Church. Steve will be remembered for his devotion to family, friendships, and a warm smile that brought joy to all who knew him.
