9 local baseball players compete in all-star game at Kauffman Stadium
INDEPENDENCE — Just as the sun began to creep under the horizon, a new game was beginning at Kauffman Stadium. It wasn’t quite as noisy as a typical day at the ballpark with the Kansas City Royals out of town playing the Boston Red Sox.
