INDEPENDENCE — Just as the sun began to creep under the horizon, a new game was beginning at Kauffman Stadium. It wasn’t quite as noisy as a typical day at the ballpark with the Kansas City Royals out of town playing the Boston Red Sox.
LIBERTY — Having the chance to play sports beyond high school is already an accomplishment but being able to compete at the next level alongside friends makes the opportunity even more special.
