LIBERTY — The week started off with a crosstown showdown for Liberty and Liberty North girls tennis Monday, Sept. 8.

Liberty North boys swimming and diving kicked off its season by competing in the Lee’s Summit Invite Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5 and 6, in the Lee’s Summit Aquatic Center.

Liberty North cross country had another solid weekend in the Todd Warner Classic Saturday, Sept. 6 at Staley.

LIBERTY — The ball was snapped. With hundreds of fans roaring at him from both sides, Liberty senior quarterback Connor Hatfield caught the ball, moved to his left, found a hole at the line of scrimmage and showcased his speed for a 27-yard run.
