Liberty softball was invited to travel out of state to compete in a tournament with nearly 30 teams from across the Midwest.

INDEPENDENCE — Liberty softball started the season 3-2 in the Greater Kansas City Invitational Friday and Saturday, Aug. 29 and 30, at Adair Park.
