Vera Mae (Anderson) Davis, 94, of Excelsior Springs passed away on December 13 after a long and fulfilling life.
 Vera was born on October 26, 1930, in Pleasant Valley, MO. She was the daughter of Robert Fulton and Beulah (Tipton) Anderson. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1948.
 Vera married the love of her life William (Bill) Davis in 1963. During their 36 years of marriage, they enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling whenever they would get the chance.
 Survived by 16 nieces and nephews and preceded in death by her husband Bill Davis, parents Robert & Beulah Anderson, her sisters Betty Lance, Eileen Pettet, Kathy Presko, her brothers Paul Anderson and Jack Anderson. Also, her nieces and nephews Connie Pettet, Robert Pettet, Dale Pettet and Lisa Boley.
 Graveside services will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Pisgah Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs, MO.
 Vera’s legacy of love, integrity, devotion to God and her adventurous spirit will endure through the many lives she has touched.
