Jadyn Barnes, a Kearney High School graduate and track athlete, finished first in the age 19 and under female age group in the triathlon with a time of 1:15:58. The triathlon benefits veterans causes and honors the service of military members who made the ultimate sacrifice like event namesake, Navy SEAL and local Matt Mason. The triathlon includes running, cycling and swimming.
